Definition: In desktop computing, a computer tower or tower chassis is the upright case that houses the main hardware components of a computer, such as the motherboard, CPU, RAM, storage devices, and power supply; tower chassis are commonly used because they provide space for expansion and cooling [Lenovo Glossary].
